M. Hayashi

M. Hayashi (林明善) was a Japanese painter working in the yōga (Western-style oil) manner in the early twentieth century. His coastal view "The Seaside of Choshi on a Fine Day," depicting Cape Inubō and its lighthouse in Chiba Prefecture, was shown at the Prince Shōtoku Memorial Art Exhibition (聖徳太子奉讃美術展覧会, held 1926 and 1930). Little else about his life is documented.
